Faraday Discovery Fellowships

The Faraday Discovery Fellowships are prestigious grants funded by a large Royal Society scheme to support mid-career researchers leading innovative STEM research in the UK. Fellowships provide long-term funding to enable researchers to lead large, investigator-led projects and build world-class research groups in the UK. The programme supports the development of the next generation of research leaders and can include support for translation or commercialization where part of a researcher’s vision.

Mid-career researchers with typically 10-20 years of research experience post-PhD; researchers who can lead a research group and hold a permanent academic position or be nearing the end of a long-term fellowship.
