Information

The U.S. Foreign Service Internship Program (USFSIP) offers two paid summer internships for undergraduate students to gain firsthand experience in U.S. diplomacy. The program includes a two-year pace with an initial summer in Washington, D.C., and a second summer at a U.S. embassy or consulate overseas, plus orientation and hands-on policy work.

Eligibility

Open to U.S. citizens who are enrolled in an undergraduate program (rising sophomores/juniors) with a GPA of 3.2 or higher and demonstrated financial need.
