Diverse Voices PhD Scholarships: Comprehensive Support and Networking for Minority Students

The Political Studies Association offers the Diverse Voices PhD Student Programme for the 2024/25 academic year to support Black and minority ethnic PhD students in Politics and International Relations. The programme provides networking, mentoring, soft-skill development, and a small grant, along with membership and conference attendance opportunities. It aims to create an inclusive community and resources to advance participants’ academic careers.

£500 grant, PSA membership for one year, attendance at PSA25 conference, in-person networking meetings and workshops, online mentoring sessions.

PhD students in 2nd, 3rd, or final year affiliated with a UK Higher Education Institution and planning to remain affiliated until the scholarship ends; self-identify as Black, Asian, or minority ethnic based in the UK and studying at a UK university.
