Information

The Tokyo Global Innovation Challenge (TGIC) is a contest for student-led business ideas. Teams of 3 to 6 undergraduate or graduate students, including international students, can participate and pitch in English. The prize includes a total award of ¥1,000,000 and additional awards for finalists.

Prizes totaling ¥1,000,000 for the winning team plus various awards for finalists.

Eligibility

Teams must be 3 to 6 members and consist of undergraduate or graduate students from universities in Japan or abroad; the business idea must be student-led and pitch is in English.

Application

Submit a pitch video (up to 5 minutes) and provide the URL in the application form.
