Transform Your Community with the Transpennine Route Upgrade Community Fund

The TRU Community Fund offers grants to local not-for-profit organizations within England to support community projects near the Transpennine Route Upgrade. The fund totals £175,000 across small and medium grants, intended to transform public spaces, services and community engagement with allowable costs including staff time, equipment, room hire and materials. Projects should align with the TRU sustainability pillars and be within the defined geographic area.

Direct funding for project costs such as staff time, equipment, room hire and materials; design and construction costs eligible.

Not-for-profit entities within the VCFSE sector or the education sector; must operate in areas within England’s 50% most deprived regions; must be within five miles of the TRU core or Diversionary Route; projects should align with TRU pillars.
