The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) is seeking a Young Professional Officer to advance climate change resilience and disaster risk reduction in Europe and Central Asia. The role focuses on supporting planning, implementation, and reporting of resilience initiatives across agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, including capacity development and data analysis. This is a fixed-term professional position based in FAO's regional office in Europe and Central Asia.

Eligibility

Advanced university degree in agriculture, agro-climatology, natural resources, or related fields; at least one year of relevant experience in sustainable agriculture, climate risk management, or disaster risk reduction; English proficiency (C) with another FAO official language (B) desirable; age limit 32 years or younger as of December 31, 2024.
