JYU Visiting Fellow Programme 2027

The JYU Visiting Fellow Programme 2027 is a fully funded research fellowship hosted by the University of Jyväskylä in Finland. It invites researchers with a PhD from outside Finland to undertake a 1-2 month research stay at JYU, with hosting by faculties and departments and engagement in educational activities alongside research. Fellows receive a grant to cover travel and living expenses, access to facilities, and opportunities to present findings and network internationally.

Researchers who have earned a PhD before the start of the visit and whose current affiliation is outside Finland; open to all nationalities; strong track record in scientific research and English proficiency required.

Submit required documents (CV, invitation letter, research plan, publications) and complete online application via the JYU portal; invitation letter from a JYU host is required.
