DAAD JSPS Research Fellowship 2026

A short-term research fellowship funded by DAAD and managed by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS), enabling qualified junior professionals and doctoral students to conduct research at participating Japanese universities and research institutes. The program covers researchers from all academic disciplines for a period of 1–12 months. It is implemented through an online application via the DAAD portal and requires securing a host researcher in Japan.

Open to researchers and doctoral students from all academic disciplines; Japanese nationals are not eligible to apply.
