About this opportunity

The Young Scientist Training Program 2026 is a fully funded fellowship hosted by the Asia Pacific Center for Theoretical Physics (APCTP) in South Korea. It invites young scientists from Asia-Pacific regions in all fields of theoretical physics or related disciplines to participate for 2-3 years, with opportunities to interact with in-house researchers and collaborate with POSTECH faculty.

Benefits & funding

Annual gross salary, research funding, housing support, one-way airfare coverage, and a 2+1 year contract.

Eligibility

Applicants must be doctoral degree holders (PhD or equivalent) with strong research interests, under 40 years old, from Asia-Pacific regions, and in fields of theoretical physics or related disciplines.
