European Union LASOMA Scholarship for Africans 2026

The LASOMA Scholarship is a fully funded intra-African academic mobility program offering Master's and PhD degrees. The scholarship covers tuition fees, health insurance, research workshops, and a living stipend, with study conducted across partner institutions in Africa and Europe. It targets African nationals and residents pursuing advanced engineering-focused studies aligned with laser manufacturing and solar systems.

Full tuition coverage, health insurance, monthly living stipend, research consumables and equipment access, travel support for preparatory activities and conferences, access to partner universities and LaSoMa Preparatory Graduate School.

Applicants must be nationals and residents of an African country at the time of application, hold a relevant engineering degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s), and meet host university language and admission requirements.
