Regional Off-Grid Electricity Access Project (ROGEAP) Worldwide 2026

Information

The ROGEAP ASPIRE Program 2026 is a training initiative to develop the skills of women and young men for solar installation in the off-grid energy sector. It aims to support regional ecosystem development for stand-alone solar systems, creating job opportunities and strengthening the solar value chain in ECOWAS and related African countries. Participants become certified regional installers with access to the off-grid solar market across ECOWAS and sub-Saharan Africa.

Eligibility

Applicants must be a national of Cameroon, Cape Verde, or Côte d’Ivoire, be physically and mentally fit to work at heights in a hot environment, and hold a professional diploma in renewable energy, electrical engineering or a relevant technical diploma (national or international).
