University of Wyoming Masters Scholarship

The University of Wyoming Masters Scholarship is a fully funded master’s scholarship program for graduate study in disciplines related to forest science and environmental research. It supports a Master’s student starting Fall 2026 to work on wildfire risk and recovery in Wyoming, including a tuition waiver, health insurance, and a 23,000 USD annual stipend. The program is a research assistantship hosted by university laboratories and research centers in Laramie, WY.

BS degree in Forestry, Environmental Science, Biology, or a related field; demonstrated ability to analyze large datasets with R; experience with LiDAR, deep learning or machine learning, and field work.
