GitLab Foundation AI for Economic Opportunity Fund 2025

Applications are open for the GitLab Foundation AI for Economic Opportunity Fund 2025. The fund provides seed funding and technical support to nonprofit organizations using AI to improve economic mobility, with a focus on demonstrations and scaling of impactful AI-enabled solutions. Selected grantees receive financial support, AI engineering assistance, API credits, peer learning, and potential further funding opportunities, plus a chance to showcase at a Demo Day in 2026.

Applicants should be US-based nonprofit organizations, though programs can operate in non-US markets. Partnerships between nonprofits and for-profit entities are encouraged; for-profit social enterprises may be considered case-by-case with a fiscal sponsor or nonprofit partner.
