The Fulbright U.S.–ASEAN Visiting Scholar Initiative offers university faculty, government officials, and professionals from ASEAN countries to spend 3 to 4 months in the United States to conduct research on topics relevant to ASEAN priorities and the U.S.–ASEAN relationship. Scholars may give lectures, attend seminars, or participate in conferences while in the U.S. Up to 22 scholars will be selected.

Eligibility
Open to citizens of ASEAN countries who reside in an ASEAN country during the application and return after the grant; for university faculty, government officials, and professionals from think tanks or NGOs; must have a strong record of academic or professional achievement; English proficiency; preference given to applicants without recent U.S. experience.
