Information

SEALNet is inviting youth leaders to co-design and lead a community-based project in Southeast Asia as part of its 2026 Summer Project Cycle. Projects can be on topics such as mental health, education, digital literacy, entrepreneurship, and related SDG-aligned areas. Selected leaders will develop an abstract, potentially advance to a full proposal, and participate in a Leadership Retreat, with on-ground or virtual project formats during summer 2026.

Benefits

Lead a community-based project with real impact; gain hands-on experience in project design, fundraising, and cross-cultural leadership; mentorship and training from SEALNet’s network; join an active Southeast Asian changemaker community; attend the 2026 Leadership Retreat in-person.

Eligibility

Applicants must form a team of two co-leaders, with at least one co-leader from the project country who speaks the local language, and at least one co-leader who has participated in a SEALNet project or YLS.

Application

Form a two-leader team and draft a 1–2 page project abstract; submit the abstract by 11th September 2025; shortlisted teams will submit a full proposal between 18th Sept–9th Oct 2025; finalists will be invited to a pitching/interview panel in November with final results announced in November 2025.
