ASEAN Foundation Model ASEAN Meeting – East Asia Summit 2025

Participants simulate diplomatic roles in a youth summit setting, drafting a joint statement and tackling regional issues. The event is held at the ASEAN Secretariat in Jakarta and includes online training prior to the in-person meeting. It offers a fully funded experience including travel, accommodation, meals, and local transport, with opportunities for regional networking and a small grant for running a Model ASEAN in participants’ home countries.

Open to university students aged 18–26 from ASEAN member states, Timor-Leste, or East Asia Summit partner countries who are enrolled in a diploma or undergraduate programme.
