COVID-19 Research Grants in India

The Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) announce a COVID-19 Research Consortium and seek Letters of Intent (LOIs) with a focus on diagnostics, vaccines, novel therapeutics, repurposing of drugs or any other intervention for control of COVID-19. The call aims to accelerate development of diagnostics, vaccines, therapeutics and other interventions for SARS-CoV-2 with emphasis on affordability, wide adoption and potential for scale-up.

Proposals can be submitted by companies (with Indian ownership), LLPs, academia, and non-academic individuals, all meeting the stated criteria.
