Information

This fellowship provides two years of training in medical statistics for African scientists. In the first year, the successful applicant will study for the MSc degree in Medical Statistics at the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, followed by a one-year professional attachment at African centres associated with the Tropical Epidemiology Group at LSHTM. The fellowship includes fees, a stipend and return airfare to support training and research activities in sub-Saharan Africa.

Eligibility

Applicants must be resident in and a national of a country in sub-Saharan Africa, hold an excellent first degree with a background in mathematics, statistics or a related subject, and have at least 1 year of work experience in medical statistics or epidemiology.
