Details

The Mark Wainberg Fellowship Programme provides two-year fellowships for clinicians from sub-Saharan Africa to develop expertise in HIV service delivery, with one year in Europe and one year in Africa. It aims to strengthen access to high-quality HIV clinical services and to foster clinical research and partnerships. Fellows may also work towards a postgraduate diploma in HIV and become mentors to others after completing the programme.

Eligibility

Candidates must be medical doctors with a terminal research degree, have a minimum of two years’ clinical experience, and currently work in sub-Saharan Africa; fluency in English, French or Portuguese is required.
