Information

The Peace, Security and Development Fellowships for African Scholars offer an 18-month training program on peace, security and development, including a 12-month Master’s program at King’s College London and an attachment to an African university to undertake an independent research project. The fellowship is designed to expose junior African scholars to the complexities of security and development issues on the continent. Funding is provided by the Carnegie Corporation.

Eligibility

Open to junior faculty members based in universities in Africa from departments such as political science, international relations, history, law, development studies, peace, security and conflict studies, and related fields; candidates must demonstrate commitment to work on peace and security in Africa and be fluent in English.
