The ICTP and the Energy, Materials and Telecommunications Center of Institut National de la Recherche Scientifique (INRS-EMT) collaborate to train young scientists from Developing Countries in advanced materials, nanoscience and nanotechnologies, photonics, telecommunications and energy. Ph.D. and postdoctoral positions are available this year under this collaboration, with an emphasis on merit-based selection and supervision by the host laboratory. Financial support includes the fellowship cost, round-trip travel expenses, stipend, medical insurance and research costs.

Eligibility
Applicants must hold a PhD or be PhD candidates for the PhD position or be postdoctoral researchers for the postdoc position, and they should be from developing countries.
