Semester 2 - Michael Jones Memorial Scholarship

The Michael Jones Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student from Kalgoorlie-Boulder local high schools who enrols in an undergraduate engineering course at Curtin University’s WA School of Mines (WASM). It provides a cash stipend to support educational-related expenses for up to four years, contingent on full-time study load. The award is funded by the Jones family in memory of Michael Jones and requires ongoing eligibility during the course of study.

Cash stipend up to AUD 12,000 across up to four years; eligibility continued based on academic and enrolment requirements.

Recipients must be Australian citizens or permanent residents enrolled in an undergraduate course within the WA School of Mines in semester 2, 2020, and have attended a Kalgoorlie-Boulder local high school.
