Information

The International Affairs Fellowship in Indonesia is a program sponsored by the Indonesia-USA Friendship Foundation to enable mid-career U.S. professionals to conduct research in Indonesia for three to twelve months, develop a professional network, and gain insights into Indonesia’s opportunities and challenges. The program provides a stipend and a modest travel grant, and fellows are considered independent contractors rather than employees of CFR.

Eligibility

Applicants must be U.S. citizens, mid-career professionals with a strong record of achievement, and have a demonstrated commitment to a career in foreign policy with an interest in U.S.-Indonesia relations; hold at least a bachelor's degree.
