The SoCal – Canadian Black Tech Express 2026 is an accelerator-style program by the Consulate General of Canada in Los Angeles and The Daraja Collective to connect early-stage Canadian tech startups led by Black entrepreneurs with business development and investor contacts in Southern California. The cohort is aligned with LATechWeek in Los Angeles and includes dedicated programming, with virtual preparatory work prior to in-person sessions. Eligible companies may have travel costs partially covered (up to 50%).

Eligibility

Canadian startup companies that are early-stage and led or operated by a Black entrepreneur (or at least one Black member in management). Companies should be generating revenue or have raised venture funding; priority to those seeking seed – Series A funding in October 2026.
