University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program 2025/2026

The University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program offers postdoctoral research fellowships, professional development, and faculty mentoring to scholars across all fields. It aims to support the development of an independent research program and prepare fellows for the professoriate through program activities. Approximately 30 postdoctoral fellowships are awarded each year across UC campuses.

Salary, research expenses, professional development funds, health/vision/dental benefits, paid sick leave, family/medical leave, and four weeks of paid time off during the fellowship term.

Open to all scholars holding terminal degrees in their discipline. Applicants may be engaged in new fields of research or innovative approaches to existing topics.

Applications submitted to the UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program; highly ranked applicants are considered for campus-specific Chancellor’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Programs.
