Data Science to Advance Women’s Health (DSAWH) Fellowship 2026

The Data Science to Advance Women’s Health (DSAWH) Fellowship 2026 is a 9-month program designed to equip women scientists with data science knowledge, tools, and networks to advance women’s health research in Africa. It brings together early-career women researchers from Eastern and Southern Africa with mentors and a supportive community, culminating in sponsorship for related activities and dissemination.

Advanced training in modern data science, mentorship from leading researchers, support in scientific writing and dissemination, and funding for publication costs and the Summer School & Workshop attendance.

Open to female scholars based in Africa who are pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree or are a post-graduate researcher working on women’s health, and who have a draft of a first authored research paper.
