Information

The Court of Justice of the European Union offers paid traineeships for young graduates. Traineeships are generally undertaken in the Members’ Chambers with Judges or Advocates General or in the Court’s administrative services, with interpreting traineeships also available in the Interpretation Directorate. Trainees receive a monthly grant and a travel allowance in some cases.

Eligibility

Citizens of a Member State of the European Union; must hold a university degree in Law or Political Science (law should be dominant) or, for interpretation traineeships, a diploma in conference interpreting with possible post-graduate qualification, or equivalent professional experience; proficiency in one official EU language and good knowledge of a second language (French highly recommended).
