Information

The Solidarity Projects under the European Solidarity Corps are volunteering opportunities for groups of young people to plan and implement non-profit solidarity activities in their local community for a period of 2 to 12 months. The activities should address community needs and demonstrate European added value, with the group typically consisting of at least five participants aged 18 to 30. One member acts as the legal representative to submit the application, and projects may be implemented in the country of residence or, for cross-border issues, in neighbouring regions. A coach or mentor may support the group during the project.

Benefits

Monthly grant up to 630 EUR; non-formal learning experiences and European added value; opportunities for personal, educational, social and civic development; support from a coach and potential organisational assistance.

Eligibility

A group of young people (minimum five) aged 18-30, legally residing in an EU Member State or a country associated to the Programme, and registered in the European Solidarity Corps Portal.

Application

The group designs the project and submits an application through the National Agency of the country of legal residence; one group member acts as the legal representative to apply.
