Traineeship at the JRC

The JRC offers internships to recent university graduates to gain scientific work experience and apply their knowledge. The program focuses on candidates with a scientific background and takes place across multiple JRC sites in Europe. It provides a monthly allowance for a period of five months, with contracts beginning on the 1st or 16th day of the month.

Financial allowance for the internship period; exposure to scientific work at the JRC and across multiple sites (Geel, Ispra, Karlsruhe, Petten, Seville).

Recent university graduates who have completed at least a standard 3-year higher education degree (bachelor's degree); nationals of EU Member States and associated countries, with a limited number of non-Member State nationals accepted.

Applications are submitted through the JRC's online web application system (ESRA).
