Information

The European Prevention Prize is awarded every two years to up to three active youth drug prevention projects. Each winner receives prize money of EUR 6000, with the ceremony held in Rome, Italy. Projects must focus on youth drug prevention and involve young people in their work.

Eligibility

Projects must be drug-prevention oriented, involve young people under 25, be conducted in Council of Europe member states, Pompidou Group member states, and MedNET countries (Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Tunisia), and involve more than one person with some organisational structure.

Application

Entries must be submitted to the Pompidou Group Secretariat for Jury consideration by the stated deadline.
