The Philippe Maystadt Prize for Tomorrow’s Education recognises outstanding final projects, bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral theses by students in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation (Belgium) that address aspects of education, with a focus on higher education. The prize awards monetary prizes to top works across Bac, Master and Doc categories. Applicants submit their theses along with supporting documents for evaluation by a jury.

Cash prizes: €2,000 for Bac, €2,000 for Master, €4,000 for Doc; recognition through prize award.

Eligibility

The work submitted must be personal, original and unpublished, presented by the author, and completed during the 2024-2025 academic year in a recognised higher education institution in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation; Bac and Master prizes require end-of-studies status; Doc prize requires a doctoral thesis.

Application

Submit the final thesis or doctoral thesis, official proof of result, a one-page summary in French, and a 10-line popularization summary in French; follow the application requirements listed by the prize.
