High-level traineeships at EU Delegations

The European External Action Service (EEAS) and the European Commission offer a high-level traineeship programme that provides a 12-month paid placement for highly qualified junior professionals from EU Member States to work in EU Delegations worldwide. Selected candidates receive a monthly grant and various allowances to support accommodation, travel and other costs during the traineeship.

Nationals of an EU Member State who hold a university degree equivalent to a Master’s degree in a relevant domain, with excellent English and/or French; professional experience and voluntary work or publications are advantageous.

Applications are submitted through the national authorities designated by each EU Member State; follow the modalities and timelines published by the respective national authorities.
