Information

The Young Interpreters Award 2022 is a competition for final-year master’s students in conference interpreting. Three authors of the most promising entries are invited to Brussels to participate in DG Interpretation’s annual conference and to receive a certificate, with the winner presenting their speech. The prize includes an invitation to visit Brussels from 17 to 18 November 2022 and participation in related interpreting activities during the conference.

Eligibility

Students in their final year of their master’s degree in conference interpreting, and nationals of one of the EU member states or candidate countries.

Application

Prepare an English, French, or German submission including a concise summary (800 characters) and the speech (5,500 characters), then email the materials with proof of master’s registration to the provided address.
