SheConnects Digital Accelerator: Africa 2026

The SheConnects Digital Accelerator: Africa 2026 is a funding and support program aimed at scaling high-impact digital initiatives that enable women and girls in Sub-Saharan Africa to participate more fully in the digital world. Managed by CARE and the GSMA Foundation with support from the Gates Foundation, the program seeks proposals from eligible entities to advance digital adoption and evidence-based learning. Award amounts for Round 2 are expected to range from USD $500,000 to USD $1,000,000 for an 18-month period of performance.

Monetary awards (up to USD $1,000,000) for selected implementations over 18 months, plus potential partnerships and capacity-building support.

Eligible entities include nonprofit and civil society organizations, mission-driven for-profit organizations, consortia and academic institutions; one lead organization must submit the proposal with partners included as sub-grantees.

Submit a complete proposal package including technical application, detailed budget and narrative, proof of organizational registration, and proposal in English.
