The Young Inventors Prize is a prize programme run by the European Patent Office to reward young innovators from around the world for ideas, projects or products that address a problem within the framework of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. It is open to individuals or groups worldwide and recognises solutions in any field of technology. Prizes include cash awards for the top finishers.

Benefits

Cash prizes of EUR 20,000 for the winner, EUR 10,000 for the second place, and EUR 5,000 for the third place.

Eligibility

Any individual or group worldwide with a maximum age of 30 at the time of the award.

Application

Submit an idea, project or product proposal with supporting information in the public domain; proposals must relate to an SDG-related problem and include public-domain materials or references.
