European Commission Youth4Regions Journalism Programme 2026

The European Commission Youth4Regions Journalism Programme 2026 invites journalism students and young journalists to submit original works about what the EU is doing in regions. The programme includes opportunities to cover the EU Regions Week in Brussels, training sessions on journalism and EU Cohesion Policy, mentorship and networking, and a chance to be shortlisted for the Megalizzi-Niedzielski Prize. It also offers an all-expenses-paid two-week reporting mission in 2027 for Cohesion Correspondent follow-up.

Accommodation, travel, and daily allowances; training sessions; mentorship and networking with journalists; study visits to EU institutions; potential shortlist for the Megalizzi-Niedzielski Prize; future reporting assignment as Cohesion Correspondent in 2027.

Open to citizens of any EU Member State or EU neighbouring country, aged 18 to 30 years old at the time of the programme.
