European Security and Defence College (ESDC) Brussels, Belgium 2026

Information

Interns gain insight into EU security and defence policy and participate in various supporting activities within the ESDC.

Benefits

Monthly allowance of EUR 1,300; travel reimbursement for occasional duty trips; potential reimbursement adjustments if another grant covers part of the allowance; access to professional experience within the ESDC.

Eligibility

Candidates must be nationals of a Member State of the European Union and be enrolled in an academic institution with a view to obtaining a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field relevant to the ESDC’s activities, and be enrolled for the entire duration of the internship with insurance coverage for sickness and accidents.
