Information

The NATTÚRA VOLUNTEERING PROGRAMME is a long-term volunteering opportunity in Iceland run by the Nature Conservation Agency of Iceland. Volunteers join the ICV Trail Team to spend 10 weeks in the wilderness, working on projects in protected areas around Iceland, including the highlands. Tasks include building, repairing and maintaining small bridges, boardwalks, drains and stone steps, supporting rangers, wilderness restoration, and removal of invasive plants and tracks left by illegal off-road driving.

Eligibility

Be over 20 years of age, be physically fit, have experience with camping and hiking.
