ProPublica Emerging Reporters Program 2026–2027

The ProPublica Emerging Reporters Program 2026–2027 is a year-long mentorship and professional development initiative for undergraduate students pursuing investigative journalism. Five students are selected each year to receive a $9,000 stipend, one-on-one mentorship from ProPublica journalists, and access to a major journalism conference, along with ongoing professional guidance and networking opportunities.

Open to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need and a strong commitment to journalism, entering junior or senior year in the 2026–2027 academic year.
