Horn Center for Democracy Youth Leadership Program 2026 – Regional Opportunity for Young Leaders in Africa

The Horn Center for Democracy Youth Leadership Program 2026 is a fully funded leadership training programme for emerging youth leaders from the Horn of Africa region. It combines a week-long in-person residential training in Addis Ababa with immersive online learning sessions, interactive workshops, mentorship, and an alumni network, scheduled for October 11–18, 2026. The programme aims to strengthen democratic governance skills and regional collaboration among young leaders aged 18–35 from IGAD member countries.

Applicants should be citizens of IGAD member countries, aged 18–35, with leadership potential and a commitment to democratic values, and experience in civic engagement, community organizing, advocacy, or related fields.
