The Taiwan Program Visiting Fellowship at Stanford offers a one-year visiting fellowship for researchers and professionals to work on contemporary Taiwan topics. Fellows collaborate with APARC and Stanford faculty and students, conducting research across social sciences, public policy, and business. The appointment includes access to Stanford facilities and opportunities to audit courses, attend events, and engage with partners on campus.

Eligibility

Open to researchers and professionals with PhD degrees or substantial records of professional achievement related to contemporary Taiwan. Applicants must be affiliated with an outside institution and proficient in English; preference for mid-career researchers with a strong publication record.
