Programme de Bourses de la CEA pour Jeunes Spécialistes

The CEA Scholarships Programme for Young African Specialists is a fully funded opportunity for young professionals in early career stages in academia, the public sector or international development to gain practical field experience within a multicultural UN environment and support Africa’s development agenda. The programme aims to build policy-oriented skills, provide mentoring, and strengthen research and policy formulation capabilities.

Airfare to and from the assignment location, a relocation allowance of up to USD 3,000 (for fellows assigned away from their place of residence) and a monthly stipend of USD 3,000; extension possible; exposure to UN and governmental development work; mentorship and policy-related training.

Candidates must be nationals of a member state of the UNECA and be 35 years or younger at the time of application; they should have completed a master’s or doctoral program (or equivalent) and be interested in one or more thematic areas listed by the programme.
