Taiwan Government Africa Elite Scholarship Program

The Taiwan Government Africa Elite Scholarship Program is a scholarship funded by the Taiwan Ministry of Education offering around 20 scholarships for African lecturers to pursue master’s or doctoral studies in Taiwan, with priority given to doctoral studies. The program supports study at partner Taiwanese universities and provides a monthly allowance plus coverage of tuition and certain living expenses. Recipients study at host institutions in Taiwan and apply directly to the chosen university before applying for the scholarship.

Monthly allowance of NT$25,000; tuition coverage; accommodation and miscellaneous expenses as indicated; related welfare items may be covered by the scholarship.

Applicants must be employed as lecturers at public or private universities or colleges in African countries and are open to Africans.
