The Ban Ki-Moon Global Citizen Scholarship is a fully funded programme for active global citizen youth from Africa to pursue university-level education while engaging in SDG-focused activities. The program runs virtually with hosting institutions including the University of Bordeaux summer school and related professional training components.
Benefits
All program costs covered for the summer university activities and professional trainings, mentoring, international networking, certificate of completion, and a €500 startup grant for an SDG micro-project.
Eligibility
Open to African youths from Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya and Morocco, aged 20 to 35, who are graduate students or doctoral/post-doctoral students, or recent graduates with a master's degree or higher, and who demonstrate strong commitment to the SDGs (especially SDG 11).
