Echoes of the Earth Book Cover Design Competition 2025

Applications are open for the Echoes of the Earth Book Cover Design Competition 2025. Cassava Republic invites Black designers from across the globe to design the cover for their anthology Echoes of the Earth: Black Voices Reclaiming Ecology and Justice. The winning design will be used as the book’s official cover with full credit and compensation for the designer; runners-up may be considered for future Cassava Republic covers.

Cash prizes for winners and potential future design work for runners-up; official credit and publication on the book cover.

Open to Black designers aged 18 and above based anywhere in the world.

Submit up to 2 original front cover designs, a portfolio, and a brief design concept statement.
