Bourses des Instituts Français d’Études Avancées

The Bourses des Instituts Français d’Études Avancées is a 10-month fellowship for international researchers in the social sciences and humanities, hosted at seven French IAS institutes. It targets researchers at all career levels, including postdoctoral and senior researchers, and includes a living stipend, housing support, travel funding, and a research/ training budget to conduct independent work in France. Applicants come from all nationalities and disciplines within SSH, with priority alignment to institute-specific scientific directions.

Open to researchers holding a doctoral degree with at least two years of full-time research experience; researchers from all countries may apply, with emphasis on SSH disciplines.
