France-South Africa Scholarship Programme 2027 for South African Graduates

The France–South Africa Scholarship Programme provides fully funded scholarships for citizens of South Africa, Lesotho, and Malawi to pursue Master’s or PhD studies in France. The programme aims to strengthen academic exchange and capacity in priority fields, offering scholars the chance to experience French culture and education excellence. It covers participation in Master’s or PhD degree programmes taught in English or French, with a stipend and tuition waiver among other benefits.

Tuition waiver, annual stipend, return flight to France, social security coverage, visa fee exemption, priority housing, and language courses.

Applicants must be citizens of South Africa, Lesotho, or Malawi and hold a Bachelor’s degree (final-year students may apply); intend to start studies in September 2027; enrol in a programme taught in English or French.
