Radicepura Garden Festival – International Garden Design Competition

The Radicepura Garden Festival International Garden Design Competition is an open call for ideas to select garden designers for the sixth Radicepura Garden Festival. It invites individual professionals, multidisciplinary teams, companies, associations, schools and universities to propose garden projects responding to the 2027 theme “Gardens of Hope: Cultivating Coexistence”. Eight winning projects will be realized and supervised by Radicepura staff during the festival, with one project receiving a special Gardenia Prize at the conclusion of the edition.

Realization of the winning project under the guidance and supervision of Radicepura staff; construction budget of €10,000 per winning garden; the best-developed garden over the six months receives the Gardenia Prize.

Participation is open to individual professionals or teams of emerging architects, landscape architects, agronomists, garden designers, botanists, nurserymen, urban planners, engineers, artists, curators; companies, associations, cooperatives, schools and universities. Applicants must be no older than 36 years old.
