Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship Program – Spring 2026

The Herbert Scoville Jr. Peace Fellowship Program invites recent college and graduate school alumni to apply for full-time, six-to-nine month fellowships in Washington, DC. Fellows work with nonprofit, public-interest organizations addressing peace and security issues, with placements chosen to fit their interests and the needs of host organizations. The program provides office space, supervision, and opportunities for research, writing, and advocacy-related activities.

Salary, health insurance contribution, travel expenses, professional development funds, meetings with policy experts, networking events, and mentoring.

Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s or master’s degree within the past few years and have a strong interest in peace and security issues, with excellent academic credentials and strong communication skills. Prior public-interest activism or advocacy experience is highly desirable.
