ByteDance Developer Infrastructure Software Engineer Intern — Summer 2026 (San Jose)

A 12-week paid Software Engineer Intern position on ByteDance's Developer Infrastructure team in San Jose for Summer 2026. Interns work on cloud IDEs, CI/CD, build systems, microservice management, and related developer tooling using technologies such as Kubernetes, Kafka, HDFS, Python, Go and Java. Multiple start date windows are offered in May–June 2026 and the role includes health benefits and a housing allowance where applicable. Candidates are expected to be current undergraduate or master's students in CS or related fields.

Hourly pay ($45–60/hr), housing allowance (if applicable), health insurance from day one, life/wellbeing benefits, 10 paid holidays, paid sick time.

Currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) or master's (MS) degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a related field; able to commit to 12 weeks in Summer 2026 and state start/end dates on resume.
